About Our Church

GRACE - A GREAT PLACE TO WORSHIP, GROW IN CHRIST AND MAKE NEW FRIENDS

Our church seeks to be true to the Scriptures, the Reformed Faith and obedient to the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are committed to God's Word because it alone is our only basis for what we believe and how we must live in light of those eternal truths.  We also believe that the Reformed faith, as developed in the Westminster Standards, is a faithful summary of the "things most surely believed among us."  (Luke 1:1)  Of course, as any gospel believing church, we are committed to our marching orders given to us by Jesus himself to go into all the world and proclaim the gospel, baptizing those who trust in Christ and making disciples of all those who are His followers.

We are also a family of believers.  We not only worship together but we also enjoy a good amount of table fellowship as we gather each Wednesday night for a great meal and then a time of the study of God's Word or topics that are informed by Scripture.  Our choir meets afterward at 7:30 to prepare for Sunday morning worship.  The third Sunday of each month we enjoy lunch together immediately following the morning worship service.  On that same Sunday of the month we do not have an evening service but encourage families to spend quality time together.

After a long season of growing families and then launching them into the world to begin their own families and ministries, we are now in the midst of a rebuilding stage as we encourage new and younger families to join us along with singles, middle-aged adults and our "senior saints."   We agree with John Piper that "God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him."  We take God's Word and God Himself seriously though we know ourselves to be sinners in constant need of His grace.  May the Holy Spirit direct you to the place He would have you serve Him and grow.  We certainly hope that He might direct you to become a part of our family at Grace Presbyterian Church.  May His grace and peace be yours.
